Twelve thousand years ago

Why this date?

We did another round of searches through the channeled and esoteric material, and one date appeared again and again: about 12 KY (thousands of years) ago. Sources from different countries and different centuries place a war and a catastrophe near it. Here they are, followed by the geology and the genetics of the same period.

The accounts

The satellite. James Tyberonn, channeling the archangel Metatron in 2008, describes the last period of Atlantis in detail. Above Atlantis hung a crystal sphere about eight kilometres across, built by the Arcturians, which the Atlanteans called their second moon. It distributed energy, and it was used for healing, for controlling the weather and for agriculture.

Atlantis was divided. On one side stood the Atla-Ra, priest-scientists of a school Tyberonn calls the Law of One, based on the island of Poseida. On the other stood the Sons of Belial, based on the island named Aryan, who took political control of the crystal energy system and turned the satellite into a weapon. They fired destructive beams from it at colonies that rebelled, in lands that are now Greece and Turkey.

Prolonged military use overloaded the satellite's antigravity system. The Atla-Ra warned that it would fall, and the ruling council dismissed the warning. The satellite fell on the island of Og. Tyberonn compares the impact to that of a great comet. The crystal power network exploded in a chain, and earthquakes and tsunamis followed. Before the fall the Atla-Ra, helped by beings from Sirius B, carried crystals and records away to places Tyberonn names as Arkansas, Brazil, Yucatan, Alexandria and Giza.

The moon. Hanns Horbiger, an Austrian engineer whose theory of the cosmos had a wide following in the 1920s and 1930s, taught that the Earth has captured several moons in its history, holding each until it fell, and that the capture of the present Moon sank Atlantis. His follower Hans Schindler Bellamy set this out for English readers in Moons, Myths and Man in 1936, and wrote again in 1948 that the capture of the Moon destroyed Atlantis.

The bomb. Irina Podzorova, my favorite Russian channeler, says in her live broadcast number 403 that a laboratory she calls the Eden base was destroyed in a war about 12 KY ago by a large bomb, and that the same bomb caused the flooding of the Atlanteans in the Mediterranean.

The heredity. In a conversation recorded in April 2021, two extraterrestrials speaking through Podzorova say that the heredity of the people living about 12 KY ago was changed, in two ways: their metabolism was altered by a substance given to them, and inherited changes were made by emitters aimed at the germ cells, the eggs and sperm, so the changes passed to their children.

The sinking. Plato, writing about 2.4 KY ago, has an Egyptian priest tell the Athenian statesman Solon that Atlantis sank in a single day and night, about 11.6 KY ago by our reckoning. Edgar Cayce, the American psychic, places the final destruction of Atlantis about 12 KY ago, and his readings name the last islands of Atlantis as Poseidia, Aryan and Og. Tyberonn uses the same three islands, since he works within Cayce's picture of Atlantis.

The flood. A great flood stands in the oldest records of many peoples: Ziusudra and Atrahasis in Mesopotamia, Noah in the Hebrew Bible, Deucalion in Greece, Manu in India, and Yu the Great, who tamed the waters, in China.

The accounts describe two things: a catastrophe that came from the sky and ended Atlantis, and a change made to the people who lived through it. We looked for both in the records of the same period.

The catastrophe, in the geology

First, the catastrophe. A strike from the sky and the end of a land would leave marks in the ground and in the sea.

The sudden cold. About 12.9 KY ago, as the last ice age was ending and the world was warming, the northern half of the world returned to near-glacial cold within a few decades, and the cold lasted until about 11.7 KY ago. Geologists call this period the Younger Dryas. In 2007 Richard Firestone and colleagues reported a thin layer of sediment at that date across several continents, rich in tiny melted spheres, nanodiamonds and platinum, material that forms under enormous heat, and they proposed that a comet struck or exploded over North America and set off the cold. Orthodox geology disputes their proposal.

The cold, remembered. Several peoples remember a great cold beside the great flood. In the Avesta, the scripture of the Zoroastrians of ancient Iran, the god Ahura Mazda warns the first king, Yima, that fatal winters are coming, with snow over the whole land, and tells him to build an enclosure, the Vara, and to carry into it the seeds of every plant, pairs of every kind of animal, and the best of the men and women. The same scripture says the first homeland of the Aryans turned into a land of ten months of winter and two of summer. The Hopi of Arizona say that the second of the worlds before ours ended in ice.

The sudden rise of the sea. The ice sheets melted in jumps. In one of them, about 11.5 KY ago, the sea rose by roughly ten to twenty metres within a few centuries, and over the following thousands of years lowlands around the world were flooded. In the Mediterranean these included the plain at the northern end of the Adriatic Sea and the land that joined Sicily to Malta. The Mediterranean basin itself is millions of years old.

The change, in the people

Then, the people. A change made to people would show in their genes and in the way they lived.

Their genes. Ancient DNA from Europe records a population turnover about 14 KY ago, when the older hunters of the ice age were largely replaced by a people spreading from the south and east. In the Near East the genomes of the people just before farming lead straight into the first farmers. Variants of genes for light skin begin to appear in the Near East and the Caucasus in this window, before they spread through Europe with farming.

Their way of life. Farming begins in the Near East between about 12 and 11 KY ago. People who had lived by hunting and gathering for all of their history began to grow grain and keep animals, within the same window.

Putting it together

Taken together, the accounts, the geology and the genetics point to one period and may describe one series of events. Here is one way to read them: first the catastrophe, then the people.

A falling satellite, a captured moon and a comet would all arrive from the sky, and the layer Firestone reported lies at the start of the same window. A strike that broke up ice sheets could also drive a sudden rise of the sea, and the rise flooded the lowlands of the Mediterranean, which fits the flooding of the Atlanteans in the Mediterranean that Podzorova describes.

The cold would also have emptied the far north. The settlements of Hyperborea, the polar land of the esoteric sources, which a later chapter will describe, would likely have had to move south. That fits the date given by Bal Gangadhar Tilak, an Indian scholar who in 1903 read the oldest hymns of India as memories of a homeland near the North Pole: he placed the Aryans leaving the pole about 10 KY ago.

The creation of our species came long before, about 300 KY ago in this book and about 3 million years ago in Podzorova's own account. So the Eden base would likely have worked on people who already existed, modifying them.

After the catastrophe

What was changed in people after the catastrophe?

We looked through the oldest written records and the esoteric sources for accounts of changes made to people after a great flood or catastrophe, and we found four.

The temples of Egypt. Edgar Cayce's readings describe two temples in Egypt about 12.5 KY (thousands of years) ago, in the time of a priest he calls Ra Ta: the Temple of Sacrifice and the Temple Beautiful. Many people who came out of Atlantis still carried animal features in their bodies, feathers, tails and hooves among them, left by Atlantean experiments. In these temples the features were removed, by surgery and by treatment, generation after generation. Cayce calls the Temple of Sacrifice what today would be a hospital, and he says that among those purified in the Temple Beautiful sexual life was at first withdrawn.

The flood of Atrahasis. The Mesopotamian epic of Atrahasis, written down about 3.7 KY ago, tells why the gods sent the flood: humans had become too many and too loud. After the flood the god Enki and the mother goddess changed human reproduction on purpose. Some women were made barren. A demon was set to take infants at birth. Orders of priestesses were forbidden to bear children.

The lengths of life. The Sumerian King List gives the kings before the flood reigns of tens of thousands of years each. After the flood the reigns fall to hundreds of years, and later to ordinary lengths. Genesis shows the same fall. Its figures before the flood reach nine hundred years and more; God sets a limit of a hundred and twenty years; and after the flood the recorded lives shorten, from Noah's nine hundred and fifty years down toward that limit.

The languages. Genesis tells that after the flood all people spoke one language, until God confused their speech at Babel, so that they could no longer understand one another, and scattered them over the Earth.

These accounts come from Egypt through an American psychic, from Mesopotamia and from the Hebrew Bible. Each places a change to the human body, to fertility, to the length of life or to speech right after a great catastrophe.

Podzorova's Eden base was destroyed in the war, before the flood, and these accounts place their changes after it. So I think they may describe a second operation, carried out after the catastrophe by whoever continued the work: the bodies cleaned of animal features, fertility limited, life shortened, and speech divided. Most likely it was made in more than one step and in more than one place, and each people remembered the part it saw.

The demon of Atrahasis who takes infants at birth resembles what abductees report today of the hybridization program of the Greys and other extraterrestrials: pregnancies begun during abductions, and the fetuses taken away to be grown in their craft and bases. Budd Hopkins described such cases in Intruders in 1987, and David Jacobs in Secret Life in 1992.

The gifts

Who gave people farming and cities?

Mainstream science treats farming as something people invented. The oldest records of the peoples who farmed first describe it as a gift. We looked for such accounts, and for what the plants and animals themselves show.

Grain and sheep. A Sumerian poem, the Debate between Sheep and Grain, written down about 4 KY (thousands of years) ago, says that at first people ate grass with their mouths like sheep and drank water from the ditches, and knew neither grain nor sheep nor woven cloth. Sheep and grain were fashioned in the dwelling of the gods, the Anunnaki, and then the gods Enki and Enlil sent them down to humankind.

Oannes. Berossus, a Babylonian priest writing in Greek about 2.3 KY ago, records that a being with the body of a fish, named Oannes, came up out of the Persian Gulf and taught people writing, the sciences and the arts, the building of cities and temples, laws, the measuring of land, and the growing of crops. Before him, Berossus says, people lived like animals.

Kingship. The Sumerian King List opens with kingship descending from heaven. After the flood, it says, kingship descended from heaven a second time, and was set in the city of Kish.

Egypt. Egyptian tradition, recorded by the priest Manetho about 2.3 KY ago and in the Turin list of kings, has gods and then demigods ruling Egypt for thousands of years before the first human king. The Greek writer Plutarch records that Osiris taught the Egyptians to farm, gave them laws, and taught them to honour the gods.

Elsewhere. In China the divine farmer Shennong taught people to plough and to sow. In Mexico the god Quetzalcoatl brought maize to people.

The plants and animals. The founder crops of farming, wheat, barley, lentils, peas, chickpeas and flax, and the first herd animals, sheep, goats, cattle and pigs, were all domesticated in one region, the Fertile Crescent, which runs from the eastern Mediterranean coast to the Zagros mountains of Iran, between about 11.5 and 10 KY ago. Bread wheat is a hybrid: each of its cells holds three complete ancestral genomes, joined when cultivated emmer wheat crossed with a wild goat grass about 9 KY ago. In Mexico maize arose from a wild grass, teosinte, about 9 KY ago, through changes in a small number of genes that turned a grass bearing a few hard seeds into a plant bearing an ear of hundreds of kernels.

These accounts come from Sumer, Babylon, Egypt, China and Mexico. Each says that farming, animals, laws or kingship came to people from gods or from beings who arrived from outside, and the first farming appears in a short window soon after the catastrophe.

I think farming, cities, kingship and the domestic plants and animals arrived together, as one large injection: a project of genetic engineering and of teaching, carried out by the Anunnaki and others after the catastrophe, possibly in Mesopotamia and in Egypt in parallel or one after the other. Humanity was bred, and then it was cultured.

The last parahumans

Who else was alive when all this happened?

The seven parahuman peoples of the earlier volumes belong to this story too, and some of them were likely still living. The dates of their last traces are few. The last Denisovan mixing into the ancestors of the people of New Guinea may be as recent as about 15 to 30 KY (thousands of years) ago. In southern China, the people buried at Red Deer Cave, whose skulls carry archaic features that some researchers place outside our species, lived until about 12 KY ago. The ghost populations carry no date for their end.

Humans and parahumans alike suffered from the shifting climate. Food and water were scarce, they moved as the climate moved, and every people moved after them.

I think farming and war finished them. Farming filled the good land with dense villages of our own kind, and the warrior culture that came with it attacked whoever else lived there. We killed the last of them, and today the parahumans survive only as stretches of DNA in living people.
