Genetics of Atlantis: Ghost populations and Blavatsky's root races

It starts from a claim made in 1888. Helena Blavatsky wrote that two peoples of another kind than ours lived on this planet before us, and that both are among our ancestors. She called them the Third and Fourth Root Races, and identified them with the Lemurians and the Atlanteans.

That is a claim about ancestry. Ancestry leaves DNA behind.

So I took it to the genome.

Population genetics has found the traces of seven vanished peoples inside the DNA of the living.

They show up as stretches of sequence too different from ours to have arisen in our own line, which means they came in from outside it, carried by people who interbred with our ancestors and then disappeared.

Two of the seven left bones and have names: the Neanderthals and the Denisovans. The other five are known only from the DNA they left in us.

For clarity I number all seven, PH1 through PH7, since five of them have no name of their own.

Blavatsky places the Lemurians in the Indian and Pacific world, and names the Australians as the purest surviving descendants of that race.

The Denisovans, PH2, lived across Asia. Their bones come from Siberia, Tibet and the Taiwan Strait, and their descendants sit at the southeastern end of the same territory. People in New Guinea, Aboriginal Australia and the Philippines carry about five percent Denisovan DNA.

Same region, and the same people singled out.

So I propose that the Denisovans are the Lemurians.

The Atlanteans belong to the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. William Scott-Elliot, an esoteric writer working from clairvoyant material, placed their first colony on the west coast of Africa in 1896.

PH6 sits exactly there. It makes up as much as a fifth of the genomes of the Yoruba, the Mende and their neighbours along that coast, which is the largest archaic share measured anywhere in the world.

So I propose PH6 is Atlantean.

PH7 may be as well, and the reason runs through Blavatsky's own term. She calls the Atlanteans a root race, and root means what it says: a people at the origin, present at the making rather than arriving later to mix in. PH7 left about one percent in every person alive, everywhere on this planet, which places that crossing before our species spread out. Which is where a root race would sit.

The Neanderthals, PH1, sit differently. According to the channeled sources they were made by extraterrestrials, from stock other than Atlantean, and planted in the wilderness outside the Atlantean cities.

Beings channeled through Jim Charles place Atlantis in one country and give it one shape: a long curved island from the Greek islands, down the middle of the Mediterranean, out through Gibraltar and along the front of Portugal.

I took that shape to the sea floor, which is two to four kilometres down, and found a chain of high ground following the same curve. The Hellenic Arc, the Mediterranean Ridge, the Alboran Ridge in the strait, Gorringe Bank off Portugal. Three thousand miles of it, all of it now underwater.

And that floor was dry land once. From about 5.9 to 5.3 million years ago the strait at Gibraltar stood closed, the Mediterranean evaporated, and the basin lay open to the air for six hundred thousand years before the Atlantic broke back in.

So I propose Atlantis stood on that chain while it was dry.

Koot Hoomi, the teacher of Blavatsky, placed the sinking of Atlantis in the same period, in a letter written in 1882.

Our own species was made.

Bashar, Blavatsky and many other sources say the same thing: extraterrestrials assembled us by hybridization, drawing on at least twenty species, terrestrial and alien.

The Sumerians wrote down one part of that work and gave a reason for it. Their cuneiform tablets, the oldest from about four thousand years ago, say the Anunnaki came here for gold and mined it in southern Africa, and that they made humans to do the digging. Zecharia Sitchin's reading of those texts is where most people meet this.

The gold is where they said it was. Southern Africa holds the richest deposits on this planet, and the region carries tens of thousands of ancient workings. Mainstream archaeology dates mining there to at least forty-three thousand years ago.

And the Sumerian King List gives a number. Eight kings ruled before the Flood, for two hundred and forty-one thousand years between them. Anchor that Flood to the end of the last ice age and kingship descends around two hundred and fifty-five thousand years ago, with the making of humans earlier still.

Which is the same window in which genetics finds our species passing through a narrow point.

And the making took our telepathy away.

The channeled sources name the structures that were damaged: the pineal gland, the pituitary and the corpus callosum, which is the bridge joining the two halves of the brain. The advanced races described in this book communicated telepathically. We are the exception among them.

Speech came in its place, and I propose the extraterrestrial Anunnaki engineered it in, taking the genes from the birds.

Vocal learning belongs to us, to songbirds and parrots, and to a few whales and bats. Our closest relatives lack it entirely.

And the same genes are switched on in the vocal-learning parts of human and songbird brains, in the same pattern, across three hundred million years of separation.

Brain size is the one thing here that can be measured directly. A skull holds a volume, and the number depends on nobody's interpretation.

Which makes it the place to test the two accounts against each other. The mainstream account has it rising, from four hundred and fifty cubic centimetres seven million years ago to our fourteen hundred. Mine has it falling, since we were assembled from donors who carried more than we do.

And the measurements run both ways. Homo floresiensis carried four hundred and survived to fifty thousand years ago. The Neanderthals carried more than us. Europeans of twenty thousand years ago carried more than people today.

Almost all of the rising sequence comes from the Rift Valley, which is about one part in thirty thousand of the world's land, because it preserves bone where most ground dissolves it.

So the Anunnaki made both of us, and the difference decided who survived.

The Neanderthals came out kind and conservative, slow to change, holding one way of living for hundreds of thousands of years. They had speech too. The bones show it: the hyoid that anchors the tongue is the same as ours, their ears were tuned to the frequencies of speech, and they carried the same speech gene.

We came out jumpy, aggressive, and easy to manage, built to dig gold and obey the extraterrestrials who made us. They damaged the corpus callosum and the pineal gland, which took our intuition away and took the compassion with it. What was left was competitive with each other, which made us evolve fast, and short on compassion, which made the competing cheap.

That combination took the planet. We outbred and destroyed the Neanderthals and every other archaic human.

Telepathy has no room in it for a lie. Speech has room for little else. So we came out of the making able to deceive each other, and willing to, and we have been doing it ever since.

And the telepathy is coming back.

Blavatsky gives each root race one thing to develop. The Lemurians built the body. The Atlanteans built emotion. We built intellect. And the sixth race, she says, builds buddhi: direct knowing, perception that arrives without reasoning toward it.

Which is what the Anunnaki took out of us.

The Telepathy Tapes document nonspeaking autistic children reading their parents' minds. Autism diagnoses in American children have tripled since 2000.

I propose that nonspeaking autists are extraterrestrial hybrids: telepaths born into a species built for speech.

All of this can be tested.

The alien hybridization programme is still running. If that is right, archaic and extraterrestrial material should be returning at the genes that build the corpus callosum, the pineal gland and the pituitary. That is a claim about specific places in the genome, and the data to check it is public.

I recently assembled a cohort of about seventy-five self-identified starseeds, and it keeps growing. Thirty are genotyped so far, paid for by the starseeds themselves and by a couple of philanthropists. The book sets out five tests that run on that cohort and on public databases, using published methods.
